Nothing much has happened this week. We got some raspberry plants and have already set them in the ground. They wont bear any fruit this year because they are only new growth, but we should have some lovely berries next year. I'd like to get some blackberries, but Spencer isn't so keen on those. Maybe some blueberries. I definately want some strawberries. I would love to have some right now as I'm typing this. These cravings are driving me crazy!

The wind is just blowing outside today. On the way home from church we almost hit a tree that had fallen in the road. And it sounds like our roof is going to be taken off any minute. I hope none of the trees on our property fall, especially on any of the buildings we have, or our car for that matter. We do have quite a few dead trees over on the government's side of the fence boardering the highway.

Meredith keeps changing her favorite toy. First it was the stackable buckets, then the bucket that you put the shape into the coresponding hole. But she gets so frustrated that the squre doesn't fit into the star shape she begins to complain and whine.

We visited the SPCA the other day and Meredith about died. She loves all the dogs in the kennels. She just jumps up and down with excitement because they are all competing for her attention. She loved that even the cats wanted to play with her. She's not use to that with our cat, Miss Sophie. She's such a crusty old woman who would rather not even look at Meredith, let alone play with her. And she obviously can't play with the chickens like a pet...their not smart enough. But she loved the dogs, the bigger the better. They were barking so loud it hurt your head, and you had to scream to talk, but throughout the entire time you could hear her laughing away. She couldn't get enough of them.

Anyway, I need to get the roast out of the oven and get the side dishes going. I hope you all enjoy Meredith's pictures. Maybe next week I'll get a few shots of my swollen abdomen full of baby. It's getting quite difficult to get out of a chair or the bed. They joys of motherhood...
